I'm Good to Go!!!

I got my MRI results from January 19th this morning and everything's ALL CLEAR!!! Even the small mass found during my previous MRI has disappeared!!! WOO HOO!!!! This is such a HUGE relief. I've been a basket case waiting for the results. This just re-emphasized there's no way I could just do increased surveillance...surgery is the only option for me.

Now I just wait for my surgery to be scheduled...

Shari - what amazing news! I have been trying to get an MRI before my breast surgery here in the UK but it doesn't seem like the normal process. In following everyone else's journey - we are all treated differently. MRI screening - although the best method is just not available here and so we don't really HAVE a choice as to whether to go with surveillance or surgery. Mammograms by x-ray are not good for anyone, let alone anyone with a cancer gene mutation!! Don't need any more trigger possibilities thank you! Its crazy - I am formulating a campaign I think - I want to make MRI possible for all BRCA+ women. Were you automartically offered your MRI or did you have to have it due to a found lump? Rejoicing for you chick!! Such great news!!
